Jared Sorensen decided he wanted to be a rancher when he was 12 years old. Being homeschooled allowed him to get his school work done in a few hours and still have time to work on the ranch. He worked alongside his father and grandfather on their cattle and sheep ranch in northeastern Nevada. After college and a mission to Colombia, he met and married Selena McKay.
She also grew up on a ranch and wanted nothing more than to marry a rancher and raise a family. Now, twenty five years later, they are parents to nine children, will soon be grandparents, and are carrying on the ranching legacy.
Searching for Home. Finding Grace, is an inspirational tale of a man finding himself as he discovers God, love, and a new way of living. This story will give you hope that no matter how far of track life takes you, God always has a plan for your happiness.
"The way we do anything is the way we do everything. We can quickly see the principles of joy and fulfillment come to life in this incredible story. It started with a simple desire to help others learn to love the land and the stewardship of ranching. It evolved into an incredible metaphor for learning to love yourself, then watching the expression of that love show up and enrich the world around you."
